Fall River Police investigating late night shooting in the Flint
Fall River Police are investigating a late-night shooting that took place on Sunday.
According to scanner transmissions, a call came into dispatch for a report of shots fired in the 100 block of Covel Street at approximately 11:00 p.m. The caller only heard the shots, but did not see the shots being fired.
Alex Urbanek told Fall River Reporter that he recovered footage of the reported shooting at his home on video surveillance. A photo from the footage is shown above.
In the video, a vehicle is shown driving on Covel and taking a left turn onto Doyle Street. The vehicle parked on Doyle and it appears in the video that someone exits the vehicle and walks up to the corner of Covel and Doyle and begins firing.
According to Detective Sergeant Moses Pereira no one was injured in the shooting and the Crime Scene Unit responded to assist with gathering evidence at the scene. The home was damaged by the gunfire.
