Fall River Police investigating incident where home was hit by gunfire after several shots fired
Fall River Police are investigating after several shots were fired on Saturday morning.
According to Detective Sergeant Moses Pereira, at just after 4:15 a.m., officers responded to the area of Eagle Street and Division Street in response to reports of shots fired.
Once on scene, evidence of a shooting was located. It was also discovered that a residence on the 300 block of Division Street had sustained what appeared to be damage consistent with a bullet hole.
No injuries have been reported.
The crime scene unit and Major Crimes Division responded to assist with the investigation.
The investigation remains active, no arrests have been made at this time.
