Fall River Police investigating after shooting threat referencing city school
Fall River Police are investigating a shooting threat towards a city school.
According to Det. Sergeant Moses Pereira, the department is aware of messages being circulated via social media platforms.
In messages obtained by Fall River Reporter, the text referenced a shooting threat at Talbot Middle School.
Pereira states that the matter is being investigated jointly by the School Resource Unit and the Major Crimes Division.
“The Fall River Police Department takes all threats of this nature seriously and will provide the necessary resources to ensure a safe learning environment for our children.”
