Fall River Police investigating after city man shot multiple times in afternoon shooting
Fall River Police are investigating an incident where a city man was shot multiple times on Friday.
According to Det. Sgt. Moses Pereira, just after 12:15 p.m., the Fall River Police Department responded to the 200 block of Linden Street in response to a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, officers were advised of the location of a male victim. Once the victim was located, officers observed what appeared to be gunshot wounds to his thigh and hand.
The male victim, a 31-year-old Fall River resident, was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment. His wounds are considered non-life threatening.
The Major Crimes Division is currently pursuing all investigative leads.
