Fall River Police holding 4th annual free block party
Fall River Police Department, along with members of the community, are planning their 4th annual Palooza block party at Britland Park to celebrate law enforcement and community partnerships.
Some of the festivities include:
Free food, music, dancing, dj, photo booths, face painting, arts and crafts, story-telling, a behind-the-scenes look into police vehicles, canine demonstration, car seat safety check, heroes of peace presentation and a 3 on 3 basketball tournament with the Fall River Police Department.
The event has been organized to build partnerships, pride, positivity, and peace between the community and law enforcement. The Fall River Police and Public Palooza is taking place Tuesday, August 20th from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Britland Park. Sign ups for the basketball tournament begin at 3:00 p.m. at the police station at the day of the event.
