Several units arrested two Fall River men this week on gun charges.

According to Detective John Robinson, on March 3rd, Detectives of the Fall River Police Departments Vice and Intelligence Unit, Gang Unit, Emergency Services Unit, and the southeastern Massachusetts Gang Task Force obtained and executed a ‘NO KNOCK’ search warrant at 422-426 County Street #1SF. The ‘NO KNOCK’ warrant was used due to the presence of firearms and potential gang members.

At approximately 6:30 AM the Emergency Services Unit (ESU) made entry into the apartment and located four males in four separate bedrooms. They were secured by the ESU and a search was conducted.

In a bedroom occupied by 21-year-old Caine Hamilton, Detectives found a black Taurus Armas G2C 9MM pistol inside a duffle bag that was loaded with 11 rounds of ammunition in addition to a round in the chamber.

In a bedroom occupied by 19-year-old Jurvonta DeCuire, Detectives found a black Ruger SR40C 40 caliber pistol under his mattress loaded with 14 rounds of ammunition in addition to a round in the chamber.

Neither Decuire nor Hamilton are licensed to carry in the Commonwealth.

DeCuire and Hamilton were arrested on charges of Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm and Possession of Ammunition without an FID card.
