The Fall River Police Department has once again gained national accreditation.
According to FRPD, last Week, the Fall River Police Department was awarded a certificate of reaccreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement after being assessed during a public hearing.
After obtaining a unanimous approval from the review committee, the reaccreditation was finalized.
This is the department’s third reaccreditation. The department has been nationally accredited since 2009 and has been able to maintain and adhere to the strict standards put forth by CALEA over the last ten years.
