Fall River Police charge teen after man injured from multiple stab wounds
Fall River Police have arrested a teen in an early morning stabbing.
According to Detective Sergeant Moses Pereira, at approximately 1 a.m. this morning, officers responded to the 300 block of Fourth Street regarding a disturbance.
Once on scene. officers learned that a physical altercation occurred in the area between three males and two females over an unknown issue. During the physical altercation a 19-year-old male was stabbed multiple times.
Upon locating the stabbing victim, officers rendered first aid until medics arrived. He was then transported to St. Luke’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A female who was involved in the altercation was transported to Charlton Memorial Hospital after suffering from a panic attack.
A 17-year-old male was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury and assault and battery.
