Fall River police charge city man in North Main Street shooting
Fall River police have arrested a city man in response to a shooting earlier this month.
On May 13th, FRPD Officers responded to the 500 block of North Main Street at approximately 1:00 a.m. on the report of a male shot in the leg while he was walking up his driveway to enter his house.
On arrival, Officer Christopher Teves learned an 18-year-old male from Fall River was shot in the right thigh.
The victim was transported to a Rhode Island Hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening injury.
Tavon Lepage, 18, of 984 Dwelly street was arrested Tuesday and charged on multiple charges including:
Assault and Battery By Discharge of a Firearm
Discharge of a Firearm within 500 feet of a Dwelling
Firearm without a License
Possession of Class A Substance
Possession of Class B Substance
Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle
