Fall River Police arrested two city residents this week on outstanding warrants after a gun and ammunition were seized.

According to Captain Barden Castro, on Monday, January 17, 2022, the Fall River Police Department Major Crimes Division developed information that 25-year-old Brandan Tessier, who was the subject of several outstanding arrest warrants for firearms related offenses was in a residence on Benjamin Street in the city. Search warrants were then sought by lead Detective Luis Vertentes and granted by the court.

Major Crimes’ detectives along with Vice Intelligence and Gang detectives made entry into the home after it had been secured by members of the department’s Emergency Services Unit.

The occupants of the home were detained while a search was conducted which led to Tessier being found hiding in a bedroom. Tessier was placed under arrest and will be facing charges related to his outstanding warrants.

Among the items located during the search of the home was a loaded Smith & Wesson revolver along with assorted ammunition for multiple firearm calibers. According to police, no one in the residence is a holder of a Massachusetts firearms license.

As a result of seizing the revolver, 21-year-old James Werner was placed under arrest for firearms violation as well as outstanding warrants for his arrest.

“I would like to recognize the dedication of the Major Crimes Division detectives who have been working to build a criminal case against Brandan Tessier for the past year. The serious felony charges that he is facing are the result of hundreds of hours of investigation, which with the assistance of the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office will hopefully lead to a successful prosecution removing a dangerous person from our streets,” stated Interim Police Chief Paul Gauvin.

Detective Ruggiero Daughter was in that apt she’s friends with the Female who’s name is on the search warrant. Officers treated her “Special”, compared to the Female who was Rough up n the 2 minors who got guns in their faces, handcuffs n put outside in freezer weather with no footwear on both, female minor only had T-shirt n under wear n male minor only short. Only after 20 minutes female got a blanket for legs n male got zipper jacket but was still outside for another 15 minutes. Police treated the wrong ppl like criminals cause they asking questions n not keeping mouth shut!
