Fall River Police arrest three on drug distribution charge and a fourth on drug and gun charges

Fall River Police have arrested four people and seized drugs and a gun after an investigation.

According to Captain Barden Castro, on Wednesday, the Fall River Police Department Emergency Services Unit executed a warrant at an apartment in the 300 block of County Street in Fall River. The warrant was issued based on an investigation conducted by members of the Fall River Police Vice Intelligence and Gang Unit with assistance of the Metro-Boston Gang Task Force.

Upon making entry into the apartment, the occupants were secured, and a search of the home took place.

Detectives were able to locate a Glock model 17 pistol along with a loaded magazine for the firearm. No one in the residence possessed a license for the firearm. It was later determined that the gun had been reported stolen out of the state of Virginia in 2015.

As the search of the apartment continued, Detectives also found approximately 2 pounds of suspected marijuana, approximately 5 grams of suspected cocaine, and approximately 3.5 grams of suspected crack cocaine.

21-year-old Nicholas Frizado was arrested on charges of Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm, Possession of Ammunition without an FID, Possession with intent to Distribute a Class D drug, and Possession of Stolen Property under $1200.

20-year-old Jay Johnson was arrested on a charge of Possession with intent to Distribute a Class D drug.

20-year-old Makenze Frizado Possession with intent to Distribute a Class D drug.

A 17-year-old juvenile male will also be summoned into court on the charges of Possession with intent to Distribute Class D drug and Possession with intent to Distribute Class B drug.
