Fall River Police arrest city man on multiple drug and gun charges
A Fall River man was arrested on multiple drug and gun charges this week.
According to Sergeant Moses Pereira, on Monday, Detectives assigned to the Vice Intelligence and Gang Unit assisted by the Major Crimes Division executed a search warrant at a residence on Ash Street in Fall River.
Prior to making entry, detectives observed the target of the search warrant, 42-year-old Michael Marsden, outside of the home. Marsden was taken into custody without incident.
During the subsequent search of the residence, detectives located a 5.56 rifle, a small quantity of suspected fentanyl, and 1.06 grams of crack cocaine.
Marsden is charged with multiple offenses, to include possession of a large capacity firearm, possession of a firearm without an FID card, possession of a class A drug, and possession of a class B drug.
