Fall River officials post 738 COVID-19 cases in the past 7 days, death count passes 180 overall
Fall River saw more cases of COVID-19 on Monday.
According to the Mayor’s Office, 5,600 total cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Fall River, a 255 case increase since Friday.
The Fall River Health Department is in contact with the individuals who have tested positive as well as their contacts.
Deaths in Fall River contributed to COVID-19 increased to 181. The City has been notified of 9 fatalities over the weekend.
Tuesday saw 94 more cases of COVID-19. 131 cases were reported on Wednesday. On Thursday, 171 cases of COVID-19 were announced. Friday revealed 87 new cases.
Massachusetts was added today to the Rhode Island COVID-19 Travel Restriction List
A prominent doctor has also called on Governor Baker to do more in the COVID-19 fight
