Fall River nears 9,000 cases of COVID-19 in today’s record setting report

Fall River saw more cases of COVID-19 on Thursday.

According to the Mayor’s Office, 8,949 total cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Fall River, a 217 case increase reported since Wednesday.

The Fall River Health Department is in contact with the individuals who have tested positive as well as their contacts.

Deaths in Fall River contributed to COVID-19 remain at 237. 7 deaths were announced on Tuesday. 5 deaths were reported on Monday.

On Monday, 572 COVID-19 cases were reported since the previous Thursday. Tuesday revealed 127 cases. Wednesday saw 109 more cases.
