A Fall River native who has resided in Westport, the Cape, Los Angeles, and Beverly Hills is ready to tell his roller coaster story.

Devin Thomas Corey, an author whose life journey has inspired others on their path to recovery, has released his memoir, “THOMAS.” The book chronicles the life of a rural Massachusetts kid and “Dead Head” turned cartel drug-runner, to landing numerous roles in major Hollywood features (Almost Famous, Coyote Ugly, Pearl Harbor, among many others), then crippling addiction and extraordinary personal transformation, the harrowing challenges he faced, and the redemption he found through a Twelve Step Fellowship on Cape Cod.

In “THOMAS,” Corey shares his experiences, taking readers on an emotional rollercoaster ride through the darkest moments of addiction to the ultimate triumph of recovery. Through his raw and honest storytelling, Corey offers a beacon of hope to those who may be grappling with their own battles.

Throughout the pages of “THOMAS,” readers will witness how Corey was transformed by a Falmouth-based Twelve Step Fellowship. Devin found solace and strength in this tight-knit community, discovering the support and guidance needed to embark on a remarkable journey of self-discovery. By sharing his intimate and relatable experiences, Corey highlights the profound impact of camaraderie and shared experiences in overcoming adversity.

Corey is hoping that the memoir is a source of inspiration and encouragement for individuals navigating the complexities of addiction in today’s opioid crisis and seeking a way forward by offering insights into the process of healing, self-reflection, and personal growth.

As someone that grew up good and had a good head on my (her) shoulders I was brought down by addiction myself I have fought hard for myself I’ve worked recovery and I’ve made it out. RECOVERY IS POSSIBLE, but YOU HAVE TO DO IT FOR YOU NOT FOR ANYONE OR ANYTHING ELSE OR IT WONT WORK I’ve found. 💯 I wish I had a way right now to purchase this book as now that I’m clean I’ve encountered homelessness and I’m not even an addict today. I wish I could read this book and look at what he went thru and the 12 step fellowships he found because I’m in fall river and I need supports.
