Fall River motorcycle rider seriously injured after being ejected in Route 6 crash
A Fall River man was rushed to the hospital after a weekend motorcycle crash.
According to Detective Sergeant Bryan McCarthy, on Sunday at 6:30 p.m., Westport Police and Fire were dispatched to the area of 337 State Road (Route 6) for a motor vehicle accident with injuries.
A male operator was traveling west bound on a Harley Davidson when he struck the guardrail causing him to be ejected off of the bike.
The crash resulted in serious injuries and the operator was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford.
