Fall River motorcycle rider dies from injuries sustained in Somerset crash involving 2 other vehicles

A Fall River motorcyclist was killed after a crash this afternoon on the Fall River and Somerset line.

At approximately 5:00 p.m., Massachusetts State Police and Somerset personnel responded to multiple calls for a motorcycle versus car crash on the Veterans Memorial Bridge eastbound.

According to Trooper Luis Blanco, Troopers of SP Dartmouth barracks, responded to calls of a fatal motorcycle crash involving 2 other vehicles, on Route 6 East prior to Route 79. 

Assistance of CARS, CSSS and Bristol SPDU were dispatched to assist in the investigation.

MassDOT advised to assist with traffic. 

The cause of the crash is under investigation and the victim’s name was not released.

    Hi my name is Rylan I am 11 my dad woke up this morning and found out that my uncle died In a motorcycle crash we are very upset he had to watch me grow up and the person cut him off they should be in trouble 😭
