A Fall River fire from earlier this month has been ruled an arson.

According to Detective John Robinson, on January 12th, 2020, a fire was set at 62 County Street, the Stafford Mill in Fall River.

A Seekonk firefighter suffered an ankle injury while crews from across the area joined Fall River Fire to fight the blaze.

A fire on Tremont Street, that was determined to be electrical in nature, occurred at the same time crews were battling the County Street arson.

The Fall River Police and Fire Departments, along with the State Fire Marshall are seeking information related to the arson.

If you know anything about this fire, contact Detective Derek Beaulieu at 508-324-2796.

You can also contact the FRPD on the TIPS line anonymously at 508-672-TIPS(8477). A cash reward of up to $5,000 is being offered.

The cash reward is being offered by ArsonWatch Rewards Program. They can be reached confidentially at 1-800-682-9229.
