Fall River man who assaulted Trump supporter has pre-trial hearing postponed
A Fall River man arrested in June for allegedly attacking an 82-year-old veteran and President Trump supporter had his pre-trial hearing postponed Thursday.
Courtright previously faced a dangerousness hearing after being charged with committing a civil rights violation with injury, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on a person over 60 years old, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on a person over 60 years old, and vandalizing property.
He was deemed not dangerous and was ordered by the judge to not possess firearms, not conduct in online political activity, and have no contact with the victim or witnesses in the case.
Courtright is accused of forcefully ripping Charlie Chase’s Trump sign then grabbing him by his shirt, knocking his hat off, and throwing him violently to the ground then continuing the attack by kicking him in his ribs and legs with his leather pointed shoes.
The pre-trial hearing was mutually postponed to October 6th.

This is the face of antifa. Donald Trump was over the target when he labeled antifa domestic terrorists. Antifa preys upon the intellectually weak and in this case the physically weak. This idiot should be facing an added federal terrorism charge for trying to take away Mr Chases first amendment right to freedom of speech. A right granted to Mr. Chase by God. A right that cannot be taken away from any human by another. Recourse should have allowed Mr. Chase to protect his rights by any means necessary but that is another debate.
