Fall River man sentenced for heroin trafficking

Samuel Rodriguez, 29, of 998 Middle St., Fall River was sentenced to serve 6 to 8 years in state prison last week according to Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III.

New Bedford detectives witnessed Rodriguez making drug transactions from Fall River to New Bedford in October of 2015.

Shortly after, Fall River and New Bedford police executed a search warrant at his apartment where (6) 50 gram packs of heroin, as well as some loose heroin was discovered. A total of $2, 873 in cash was also found.
