Fall River man charged with stealing cash, marijuana from ex-girlfriend
On Tuesday, March 6th at approximately 12:30 p.m., Officers Michael Perreira and Ronnie Dudney of the Fall River Police Department’s Uniform Division responded to a Robeson Street apartment to investigate a past Larceny complaint. On their arrival, they spoke to the victim, a 30-year-old female, who stated she allowed her ex-boyfriend Michael Wahl, 27, into her apartment at 6:00 a.m. After talking for about an hour and a half, they fell asleep on her bed. Prior to going to sleep, the victim stated she checked her safe and observed her cash and marijuana. When she awoke about noon, she noticed a text from her ex-boyfriend indicating he left at 11:30 a.m. The victim immediately checked her safe, which she kept unlocked, and noticed her cash and personal use marijuana were gone. The victim stated her ex-boyfriend was the only one in the apartment.
Officers Perreira and Dudney were able to locate Wahl at his residence and placed him under arrest on charges of Larceny from a Building and Breaking and Entering into a Depository.
