Fall River man arrested on several drug charges, warrant

A Fall River man has been arrested on several charges after an incident last week.

According to Massachusetts State Police, on May 19, at approximately 2:33 p.m., Trooper Joseph Kubicek was driving down South Main Street in Fall River when he conducted a Registry of Motor Vehicles query of the car driving ahead of him. The registered owner of the car, Damien Davis, 38, of Fall River had a warrant out for his arrest. Trooper Kubicek activated his cruisers blue lights conducted a motor vehicle stop.

Once the vehicle came to a full stop the operator, who was identified as Davis, was ordered out of the vehicle and placed into custody on the warrant. Police stated that Davis was in possession of two pill bottles containing Xanax and Adderall along with other small items such as lighters, cut straws with powdery residue, and keys.

Trooper Kubicek conducted a motor vehicle inventory and located a backpack with plastic bags of marijuana along with multiple edible candy THC bags, THC vape cartridges and a large amount of cash with a rubber band around it.

Davis was transported to the Dartmouth State Police Barracks and later was transported to the Ash St. Jail on the charges of Possession of class D substance with intent to distribute, Possession of class E substance, Possession of class B substance, Possession of class C substance, Possession of class D substance, and the active warrant.
