Fall River man added to Bristol County District Attorney’s Most Wanted list
Bristol County District Attorney’s Most Wanted has added a Fall River man to the list.
Alan Gaudreau, 56, is wanted by police for violating the terms of his probation related to Superior Court convictions for breaking and entering cases in Freetown.
Gaudreau is a habitual offender with a 28-page criminal record. He is accused of violating the terms of his probation on multiple occasions during the past two years by stealing license plates, failing drug screens, missing drug screens and falsifying his urine.
On November 8, 2018, Gaudreau failed to appear in Fall River Superior Court for a final probation surrender hearing and has yet to be taken back into custody.
Earlier this week, he was spotted by police in Taunton but eluded them after a high speed chase on Route 24. After the chase, the defendant fled his vehicle and disappeared into the woods in Freetown.
Despite police efforts to search the area for several hours, he was not located.
