Food Service Worker – Southcoast Health System

We are searching for a Food Service Worker to perform a variety of duties under the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Food Services or designee.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• setting up all POD stations and performing POD positions to meet standard trays/minute;
• breaking down stations completely ensuring they are cleaned and sanitized;
• cleaning and sanitizing equipment and food surfaces according to Sodexho procedures;
• assuring that all food items are accurately dated, labeled, and rotated prior to storage;
• using proper utensils to ensure accurate portions;
• sweeping and mopping thoroughly.

This position will handle multiple jobs including patient service, Dish room and Washing Pots.

Hours: Per Diem
Shift: Evening Shifts 4pm-8pm w/weekend & holiday rotation

Education and/or Experience Requirements:
• Ability to follow written instructions.
• Experience with proper food safety/sanitary procedures are preferred.
