Chemical Operator – Borden & Remington (Fall River)
Full-Time, $16.00 to $20.00 /hour
The job consists of the following requirements:
• Follow established product identification and traceability procedures.
• Load, unload, and handle materials as assigned in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain product quality through final testing.
• Monitor flow instruments, visually observe rail cars, and storage tanks.
• Monitor recording instruments, flow meters, panel lights, or other indicators to verify conformity of process conditions.
• Notify maintenance to correct equipment malfunctions.
• Operate forklift for movement of chemicals to and from our warehouse.
• Perform work in accordance with all documented work instructions, standard operating procedures, and health and safety guidelines.
• Prepare hazardous materials for transportation; as assigned in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Regulate or shut down equipment during emergency situations, as directed by S.O.P.
• Review certificates of analysis indicating product specification and typical properties for incoming inspection.
• Understand how to properly use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
• Understands Facility security structure and expectations.
This is a full-time position with a generous benefits package including, health, dental, life, 401k, vacation, etc. First and third shift openings.
