Pre-Cast Construction Assembly Person – J&R Pre-Cast Inc. (Berkley)
Full-time, $33,000.00 to $38,000.00 /year
Job Description Summary
J&R Precast is seeking a highly motivated Pre-Cast Concrete Assembler person to work full time and perform pre-cast construction assembly. The assembly person will assist in the construction, erection, repair and modification of precast concrete structures.
The assembly person will perform a wide range of duties around the yard.
• Strip and clean concrete forms.
• Performs form layout, assembles wood and steel forms, tie and bend rebar.
• Pours, shovels, screens and vibrates concrete.
• Maintains clean working environment and adheres to safety regulations in manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate forklifts, skid steers and small machinery is a plus.
• The ability to read shop drawings and plans is a plus.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications (Education/Experience) and Required Skills
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Education
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and work as a team member
• Working knowledge of tools/machinery generally used in construction and pre-cast concrete
• Understand and apply basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, division, multiplication)
• Knowledge of basic measurements and mechanical/figuring skills.
• Reliability is a must and a positive attitude is appreciated
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs
• Must have reliable transportation
• Compensation to be determined based on experience.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and pre-employment health physical.
