Warehouse – Jordan’s Furniture (East Taunton)

Are you ready to take the first step toward a rewarding career? We are looking for people to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd Shifts in our Taunton Warehouse Distribution Center.

Now accepting applications for:
• General Laborer (Scheduled hours: Monday-Friday 5:30 am – 2:00 pm or Monday- Friday 5:00 pm – 1:30 am)
• Merchandise Handler (Scheduled hours: Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm or Sunday – Thursday 9:00 pm – 5:30 am)
• Baler Operator(Scheduled hours: Tuesday – Saturday 11:30 am – 8:00 pm)

Responsiblities vary based upon position but could include assembly of furniture, picking orders, receiving furniture shipments and placing them in our racking system.

The successful candidate will:
• Possess 0-6 months of related experience or equivalent education/experience
• Must be able to solely and safely lift and move materials up to 110 lbs.
• Must be comfortable working with production goals and standards
• Must successfully complete pre-employment testing
• Must be able to operate machinery up to heights of 35 to 50 feet
• Must have strong communication skills
