Fall River hits 1,869 total cases of COVID-19 over the weekend
Fall River saw additional cases of COVID-19 in Monday’s report.
The City saw 6 new cases over the weekend in today’s report, according to the Mayor’s Office. This makes the total in Fall River increase to 1,869.
The Fall River Health Department is in contact with the individuals who have tested positive as well as their contacts.
The death toll from the coronavirus in Fall River remains at 119.
12 cases were reported on Tuesday. Wednesday saw 3 more COVID-19 cases. Thursday, 1 new case was reported. Friday revealed 7 additional cases.

The Mayor’s Office stated today that weekend reports will no longer be released. Information for weekends figures will be released on Monday.
The City continues to encourage residents to practice social distancing. This means keeping a distance of 6ft between individuals. Continue to wash your hands on a regular basis, clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces, and stay home as much as possible, especially when you are sick, and wear a face covering when out in public. These measures will help to limit the spread of COVID-19.
The City wants to remind residents that Government Center Reopened to the Public on June 8 by appointment only.
