Fall River fatal shooting victim identified
Fall River Police, Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the district attorney’s office and Homicide Unit prosecutors are actively investigating a fatal shooting, which occurred late this morning in Fall River.
Fall River Police responded around 11:25 a.m. today to 911 calls regarding a shooting in the area of Mott Street and Warren Street. When first responders arrived on scene, they located the victim and rushed him to St. Anne’s Hospital, where was pronounced deceased.
The victim was identified by the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office as Jake Williams, 22, of Fall River.
The investigation is still ongoing.
