Fall River DDS and LifeStream meet with Freetown Police to share Autism Kits
“Today members of the Fall River Office of the MA Department of Developmental Services, along with members of LifeStream, in collaboration with People Incorporated, met with Officer Medeiros to drop off Autism Kits.
These kits are designed to be carried by officers in their cruisers and contain sensory items like earmuffs, sunglasses, note pads, and fidget toys to assist officers in dealing with autistic persons in crisis.
We want to thank these departments and companies for a great campaign and for supplying us with amazing tools to help us serve our community!”-Freetown Police Department.
