Fall River company looks to produce large quantity of masks, gowns for MA due to shortage from coronavirus
A Fall River company is looking to help with the personal protective equipment shortage in the state of Massachusetts.
CEO Charlie Merrow announced Friday night on social media that Merrow Manufacturing is working closely with State and Federal organizations to plan production of PPE masks and gowns.
“We are in a unique position with hundreds of employees skilled in the production of these products. Merrow expects that if asked, we could supply millions of masks weekly and thousands of bonded gowns weekly to citizens in MA. Please reach out directly with questions.”
The manufacturer at 502 Bedford Street is a technical soft goods manufacturer that develops and builds apparel, gear & instrumented soft goods. Merrow specializes in technical sewn products, knits, woven, textiles, soft goods, and manufacturing.
