Do you have any unused, unwanted or expired prescription medications?

The Fall River Police in conjunction with BOLD and SSTAR will be holding a National DEA Prescription Medication Take Back Day.

Not only is it a safe way to dispose of your medications, but the first 25 participants who complete a brief survey will receive a $10.00 gift card.

The event will take place on Saturday October 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Blessed Trinity Parish at 1340 Plymouth Avenue in Fall River.

The following items will not be disposed of in the drop box: creams, ointments, liquids, thermometers, syringes, IV bags, bio-waste, aerosols, inhalers, or epi-pens.

The Westport Police Department, Somerset Police Department, Tiverton Police Department, New Bedford Police Department, and the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office are also holding Prescription Medication Take Back Day on Saturday, October 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
