Fairhaven man sentenced for distributing fatal dose of fentanyl
A Fairhaven, Massachusetts man was sentenced this week in federal court for distributing a fatal dose of fentanyl, U.S. Attorney Halsey B. Frank announced.
U.S. District Judge John A. Woodcock, Jr. sentenced Cameron Soto, 28, to 19 years in prison and six years of supervised release. Soto was also ordered to pay $4,420 in restitution. He pleaded guilty on June 13, 2019, to two counts of distributing fentanyl.
According to court records, on March 14, 2017, Soto distributed fentanyl to a resident of St. George, Maine. The recipient of the drugs died as a result. The following day, after learning of the overdose, Soto distributed additional fentanyl to a confidential informant.
The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency investigated the case, with assistance from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

ALL dealers of fet, and or Heroin, should go away for attempted murder, period. I’m glad this is the direction they are going.
I’m sure the enablers around him will just say he was a “good kid.”

Man shut up. This kid has lost family members also as a direct result of heroin and substance abuse. He has had a great deal of suffering all his life. Don’t judge someone you see in a little newspaper article you know nothing about. The universe will hand every one their karma.
