Educators to rally at Bristol Community College in Fall River for better pay
Educators are set to rally Wednesday at Bristol Community College in Fall River for contract funding.
According to Massachusetts Community College Council Director at BCC Tom Grady, there have been no raises for MCCC Professional Staff and FT Faculty since 2020, no action by the Massachusetts Legislature to fund their (EXPIRED) contract since May 2023, and no proposal of the same 8% raises that other Higher Education unions have been offered for the next contract.
The rally will be held at 12:00 p.m. at the steps of the G Building at 777 Elsbree Street.
