Due to citizen complaints, Fall River police arrest eight in undercover sting
A John sting by the Fall River police has netted several arrests.
On Friday July 12th, 2019 between the hours of 06:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., members of the Fall River Police Department’s Vice & Intelligence Unit, with assistance from the Major Crimes and Special Operations Divisions, responded to citizen and business complaints of prostitution activity in the area of Pleasant Street by conducting an undercover operation in an ongoing effort to address this issue.
During the operation, eight males were arrested after soliciting a female undercover police officer for Sexual Conduct for Pay. All eight are charged with Pay For Sexual Conduct,
Delana-Silva has an additional charge of resisting arrest after he pushed himself away from the detectives.
