Driver injured after vehicle crashes into building this morning in Westport
A driver was sent to the hospital after crashing into a building this morning.
According to the Westport Fire Department, Westport Fire & Police responded to the report of a car into a building earlier today in the area of Forge Road and Route 177.
One person was transported with minor injuries by firefighter/paramedics to a local hospital.
Firefighters Manley and Raymond monitored the structural integrity of the building as the vehicle was removed by the tow company.
Westport Fire has responded to 655 calls for service year-to-date.
The crash is under investigation.
