Draconid meteor shower arrives

Hopefully the weather this weekend will co-operate as the best viewing for the Draconid meteor shower will be today and Sunday.

Just after dark and away from the city while looking north will be optimum for viewing.

According to Space.com, the Draconids are usually modest, generating just a few meteors per hour. Still, it’s worth looking up, because the shower occasionally puts on an incredible display.
