John Michael Almond, 33, and his girlfriend, Jaclyn Marie Coleman, 26 were both arrested yesterday and are being held without bail.
Coleman was also charged with assault and battery on a police officer and the obstruction of justice portion of the state’s witness intimidation statute. She is accused of attempting to destroy a cell phone in the presence of police officers and then assaulting one of the officer’s who attempted to stop her from destroying the device.
According to WCVB, the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office stated at today’s arraignment that David Almond was dramatically emaciated and both he and his brother were wearing adult diapers that were soiled.
David Almond was 5’10” and approximately 80 pounds at the time he was discovered by authorities. The twin brother is about the same build.
During the arraignment, it was stated that preliminary exams revealed that both brothers had fentanyl in their system. Heroin was reportedly found in the apartment.
According to Fall River School Superintendent Matthew Malone, Almond was a freshman student at B.M.C. Durfee High School.
