Difficult visibility caused Fall River crash that injured pedestrian
Difficult visibility caused a vehicle versus pedestrian crash Wednesday morning in Fall River.
According to Detective John Robinson, at 6:35 a.m., Fall River Police Officers responded to the area of 300 Plymouth Avenue in response to a motor vehicle versus pedestrian collision.
A 1998 Toyota Corolla, driven by a 58-year-old Fall River man, struck a 35-year-old male crossing Plymouth Avenue towards McDonald’s restaurant.
The operator stated he could not see the pedestrian due to heavy fog and poor lighting conditions.
The pedestrian was transported to Rhode Island Hospital as a precaution with non-life threatening issues.
