Dead body found along Fall River waterfront
Fall River Police are reporting that a dead body was found in Fall River on Monday.
According to Captain Barden Castro, at approximately 6:44 a.m., a citizen walking along the waterfront called police to report the presence of a body in the Taunton River in the area of Remington Avenue.
Fall River Police responded and found an unidentified deceased individual floating in the water.
Fall River Police Major Crimes Detectives along with State Police assigned to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office are investigating.
