Dartmouth Police issuing warning after traffic stop finds windshield full of snow, ice
The Dartmouth Police Department sent out a warning this morning to drivers concerning windshield cleaning during and after storms.
It may seem obvious to some, but windshields need to be clear of snow and ice so you can see what is in front of you.
This traffic stop by the Dartmouth Police led to them issuing a safety announcement to the public.
“Safety first!”
“This morning, one of our officer’s stopped this vehicle after noticing that the operator failed to properly clear their windshield of frost and ice. As all-too-often we see incidents such as this one end in tragedy, we wanted to use this example as a reminder to everyone, to please take the time to make your vehicle safe prior to operating it!”
