Dartmouth police investigating crash involving pedestrian
According to Dartmouth police, On Sunday, October 1, 2017 at approximately 5:20 a.m., Dartmouth Police and other emergency personnel responded to the area of #64 Chase Road to investigate a motor vehicle vs. pedestrian crash.
As a result of the investigation, it was learned that the vehicle, a 2008 Honda Accord, was being operated by a 22 year old Dartmouth woman when it struck the 18 year old Hyde Park man.
As a result of the crash, the 18 year old Hyde Park man was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash is currently under investigation by the Dartmouth Police Department Crash Reconstruction Unit, and pending notification to family members, no names are currently being released.
