Dartmouth motor vehicle crash leads to arrest of East Freetown woman
DARTMOUTH, MA – Dartmouth Police arrested an East Freetown woman after a crash over the weekend.
According to Dartmouth Police, on Saturday, just before 9:30 p.m., the Dartmouth Police Department, along with other emergency personnel, responded to a motor vehicle crash in the area of 410 Old Westport Road.
Upon arrival, officers discovered that a 2017 Volkswagen had crashed into a utility pole, causing extensive damage to both the vehicle and the pole.
As a result of the investigation that followed, the operator of the vehicle, 21-year-old Mari McGinn of East Freetown was placed under arrest and charged with operating under the influence, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stay within marked lanes.
