Dartmouth Fire Department personnel rescue two at local beach
High tide proved dangerous Thursday as a local fire department saved multiple people.
According to the Dartmouth Fire Department District 2, crews late last night went out with the airboat to Demarest Lloyd State Park.
Personnel arrived to rescue 2 people who had been walking around the park and got stranded after the tides came up.
Crews were able to get to the 2 individuals quickly then get them on to the airboat and brought them safely right up to the shoreline at the beach.

Well. I guess that airboat came in handy. Two former Prudential Committee members wanted it sold.
