Dartmouth Animal Control is looking for some help from the public.

This dog, who they have named Oliver, was found in a ditch at the Nogachoke Fish and Wildlife preserve on Hixville Road in Dartmouth on Easter Sunday. He is very sweet but in need of food and TLC. He has been tested negative for heart worm. The tip of his tail will need to be amputated and he needs to be neutered.

Dartmouth Animal Control would like to know who his owners are so they can find out why they allowed him to get to this condition.

If you would like to help by donating you can do so by sending a donation to Town of Dartmouth Animal Control 400 Slocum Road Please make checks out to Town of Dartmouth and in memo box put animal control for Oliver . Please contact Dartmouth Animal Control at 508-910-1840 and  leave a message and they will return your call.

If you are interested in adopting him his stray hold will be up on April 9th
