Cross country trip turns tragic for Massachusetts woman after Nebraska crash leaves her fighting for her life
A cross country trip has turned tragic for a Massachusetts woman and her family is looking for the public’s help.
According to her mother Margo, 26-year-old Tatyana Tudor of Holbrook was accompanying her best friend London on a trip from Boston to California to help him move. On Sunday, their road trip became a nightmare. While driving on Route 80 in Nebraska, Margo says that a vehicle was swerving uncontrollably and ran into the car her daughter was traveling in and then fled.
“This accident almost took her life. The car they were traveling in was hit on the front passenger side, which caused their vehicle to be airborne and flipped over 15 times. Tatyana was ejected from the vehicle and run over by a semi-tractor trailer on her lower extremities.”

Tatyana has sustained life-threatening injuries including a skull fracture, a broken pelvis, and multiple bone fractures. They had to amputate the right leg and are trying to do everything to save the left leg.
“At this time, we are in desperate need to get her med lifted and have a time limit. We need to get her home soon so she can get better and have the greatest recovery. She needs to be transported with the ventilator and we only have 1 week to make this possible. She needs multiple surgeries, and the doctors want her to work with a team of physicians that will be able to watch her from start to finish.”
Margo stated that her daughter is a very selfless soul. Now she hopes the public will be selfless and aid in her recovery.
