Crime prevention seminars to be held by Fall River police
According to the Fall River Police Department, there will be a series of three crime prevention seminars on September 19, 20, and 21, at 6p.m. in the community room at the Fall River Police Station, located at 685 Pleasant St. Fall River, Ma.
Detective Lawrence Ferreira and Detective John McDonald will be instructing business owners in subjects concerning crime prevention through environmental design and employee safety. The seminar will focus on areas such as: Robbery Prevention, Employees and Robbery and what to do if confronted by a robber. These seminars are being funded by a Department of Justice Grant.
All business owners and the general public are welcome to attend any of these trainings.
