Crews respond to morning rollover crash on Route 24 that blocked highway ramp
A ramp was blocked on Route 24 during rush hour Tuesday morning after a rollover crash.
At approximately 7:30 a.m. crews responded to a crash with a vehicle rollover on Route 24 in Tiverton.
According to Rhode Island Department of Transportation, the accident caused the entrance ramp to be blocked on Route 24 Northbound at Exit 4 (Route 77 to Route 177 – Tiverton/Little Compton).
The Tiverton Fire Department reported that luckily, there were no injuries.
The crash was cleared just after 8:00 a.m.
The incident is under investigation.
