Crash involving tractor trailer on Route 24 closes all lanes in both directions into afternoon
A tractor trailer crash this morning on Route 24 has resulted in both sides of the highway being closed into the afternoon.
According to the West Bridgewater Fire Department, the vehicle collided with a large sign that stretches across 24.
According to MassDOT, all lanes on Route 24 North and Southbound at exit 28 are closed. All Northbound traffic is being detoured off at exit 24. All Southbound traffic is detoured off at exit 28B.
Replacement of signage and removal of gantry is ongoing.
