Construction to begin at Charlton Memorial Hospital this week, but don’t worry about getting care there
Work is set to begin this week at a Fall River hospital, but don’t have any concerns on getting the care you need there.
According to Southcoast Health, on Monday, May 22, construction will begin on a new parking deck at Charlton Memorial Hospital to create approximately 200 additional parking spaces.
Throughout this construction, there is expected to be minimal impact on all patients and visitors.
Southcoast Health strongly encourages all patients and visitors to plan to allow for extra time to park before scheduled appointments. Additional valet services will be available to accommodate patients arriving at the hospital during busy times.
The Charlton Memorial Emergency Center will remain fully open and ready to accept patients. Parking for the Emergency Center is available at the entrance and on the first level of the adjacent parking garage. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.
The healthcare company is looking to have the parking benefit up and running as fast as they can.
“Thank you for your patience and understanding. We are committed to completing this project as quickly as possible and appreciate your support as we create additional parking that will ultimately benefit our patients, providers, staff and neighbors.”
